RETAIL DISCOUNT SCHEDULE

This discount schedule applies to dealers who purchase single or assorted titles primarily for the purpose of reselling to consumers other than schools, libraries, or government agencies.

DISCOUNT SCHEDULE* (based on retail price and assorted title quantities):

Retail: Trade titles purchased are applicable to the discount provided. All retail purchases of Educational titles are subject to only 25% discount off the retail price. All retail orders are eligible for 50% non-returnable discount. Retail purchases are subject to shipping and handling fees.

Educators: Educational titles purchased with a retail book order receive the applicable discount under the educational policy Educational discount applies to ALL orders placed with an official purchase order and/or valid proof of affiliation with an educational institution ie., HHA or other Homeschool associations. All educational orders will be charged 7% of te total sale for shipping and handling. The listed domestic shipping rates do not apply. All orders arranged for pick up at Bess Press will be charged a $10 handling fee.

SHIPPING:

Most orders originate in Hawaii. In-stock titles will ship within 3-10 business days. ALL orders in the United States or Guam are shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Other shipping arrangements can be made when specified/requested by the retailer or customer. If specific shipping arrangements are requested, the retailer or customer will be charged the ACTUAL shipping/postage cost, plus a $5 handling fee. Bess Press will not be responsible for lost packages once delivery is confirmed.

International Shipping: All international orders are shipped via USPS. Actual shipping/postage charges will be added to all orders, plus a $10 handling fee.

Pick-Up Options: Retailers and customers may arrange to pick up orders directly from Bess Press. All pick-up orders will be charged a $10 handling fee and will be available for up to 10 business days after processing and notofication. If orders will need to be held for longer than 10 business days then the order will be processed on the day of pick up.

Domestic Shipping Rates

PAYMENT TERMS
ALL retailers will be on net 60 days. A 1% interest rate per month will be added on late payments after the 60 days. A completed credit application must be on file. Click here to download a credit application (PDF ) or call us to set up an account.

RETURNS

Not eligible for return are books (a) which are out of print, (b) which have been stickered, shrink-wrapped, or altered in any way by parties other than Bess Press, (c) which have been used or are damaged (customers have 7 days to return books that arrive damaged), (d) which have not been purchased directly from Bess Press, (e) which have been purchased on a non-returnable basis. All eligible returns received will be credited at the same price and discount at which the books were purchased. A packing slip stating quantities, titles, invoice number, and ISBN's must accompany all returns. Transportation charges on returns must be prepaid by the customer. Bess Press will not pay shipping for any titles returned.

CLAIMS

All credit memos will be initiated by Bess Press after receiving the returned merchandise. Any order discrepanicies must be reported to Bess Press within 7 days of receiving the order.
